Céline on 2023 & 2022:
“2023 was a nice surprise for us. Yes, we are happy! 2022 was a super harvest with lovely grapes – we enjoyed the volume and the fact that we didn’t need to do a lot of triage – whilst a satisfying harvest 2022 was hard to vinify the last sugars took their time – so it was a year of work in the cellar – 23 was easier from that perspective.”

Simply delicious wine – such a reliable domaine!!
Reds were bottled July/August:
2022 Mâcon-Serrières Les Graves
Gamay of course, on granitic soil
Vibrant – a hint of low sulfur aroma with tons of inviting energy. Super silky – that sits beautifully in the mouth. Slowy easing into a fine, detailed finish – simply excellent wine.
2022 Mâcon Rouge Les Perrières
All gamay from Mâcon-Charnay, quite a limestone soil for these 60-year-old vines – whole cluster with a daily remontage.
More colour in this one. Nice depth to this aroma – more concentrated. More direct, a little more intense – certainly more mouth-watering – I like the shape of this – there’s more concentration too after the ‘easy-delicious’ first wine – much more character – top and with a lovely chalky finish too!
Here is Pinot with barrel elevage
A narrower nose to start as there’s a small reduction – air brings flowers to the fore. Extra volume in the mouth – beautifully perfumed, supple flavour – ooh – beautiful Bourgogne – bravo!
Le white:
4 hectares of vines in this – tank elevage – made without any additions – also no additions for the bottling.
That’s a lovely nose – it resembles the domaine’s crémant! In the mouth too – there are just no bubbles plus more visible architecture to its shape. Ooh – vibrantly delicious finish – bravo again!
