More cloud on Sunday afternoon and a mere 16°C in the Hautes Côtes – it snowed in Switzerland today – just a few spots of rain here. Still, Saint Romain (Haut) is a lovely walk with epic views and super houses – a bit too far from the co-op to think of buying a place though 😉

Meloisey is a lovely little village. D17 will take you right there…
Yep, that’s the way I went: Bligny-sur-Ouche, Meloisey, St.Romain, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Pommard et-cetera…
When next in Meloisey (our home village), visit Domaine Parigot. Regis, Marie and Alexandre make a fine selection of wines, including many premier crus. The HCdB rouge “Clos de la Perriere” is the best from this appellation. In our humble opinion!
Next time you pass through Meloisey you should stop in and say hello to Agnes Paquet. She is making some lovely wines.
Parigot is a wonderful producer. Brought in by Pacific Wine Co. years ago.
Hi Mike,
Agreed! Truth be known we import Parigot to Australia, but just love the people as well. Hope you are still getting their wines!
Cheers,
Bernie and Michele
