Ha, same thing happened last weekend with a 2015 Roblet Monnot Volnay Brouillards. Had to strain it while decanting. Million pieces of dusty cork. Luckily it was so reductive it needed it. Worth the patience as it was gobsmackingly concentrated and delicious. Great grower.
One of the greatest of the ‘under the radar’ producers – perhaps my favourite domaine selection of 2017 in red! Am still annoyed that I didn’t get the time to visit to taste the 2018s…
