la première neige…

No we are not in Val d’Isère today, but at 8am it was 3°C and raining in the Beaune, but in the Hautes Côtes, there were reports of snow-flakes – later I saw the pictures from Marsannay too. It would have been kind of cool to get a pic of golden and red leaved vines with snowflakes – but I had an appointment, so…

Just one visit this morning so I’m keeping the fingers warm by typing this afternoon, but Meursault was a little different to the last two days…

PS: A good interview by Laurent – in French – but use Google translate if you like…

Agree? Disagree? Anything you'd like to add?

There is one response to “la première neige…”

Sounds like a reprise of that 2013 horrific Domaine Arlaud vendange end on the Hautes-Cotes plateau in early October which I’ll never forget ! No snow but by heaven was it freezing cold, icy, and wet.

Warmer memories of Bar du Square recently though Bill 🙂
