The Spring 2007 Round-Up

Update 11.3.2010(22.3.2007)billn

This is hardly a real page – more of an index really – but there would have been far too much content for a single page given the (annually) wider coverage of new wines:

  1. 2004 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
  2. 2005 Albert Bichot Portfolio – lookout for some Domaine Engel info
  3. 2005 Jean-Claude Boisset – including the ‘March of the Stelvin’
  4. 2005 Bouchard Père et Fils
  5. 2005 Mischief & Mayhem
  6. 2005 Nicolas Potel – and Potel-Aviron
  7. 2005 Domaine de la Vougeraie – including a vertical of Clos de la Prieuré

Your comments on the J.C. Boisset 2005 Savigny-les-Beaunes les Serpentinieres (the first I have seen anywhere) are right on. I had this at Chez Guy in Gevrey-Chambertin and went looking for some bottles at J.C. Boisset in Nuits-St-Georges, but no luck, they didn’t sell them there. Anyway, this is clearly a wine below the radar for many. I suspect you are right and many of the others are worth a try…
