2008 Moreau J. et Fils, Chablis VaucoupinApr. 2010
Intense, sweet, slightly dark fruit. Super minerality and broad, well-defined acidity – A very nice star
2007 Moreau J. et Fils, Chablis Mont de MilieuApr. 2010
Fine, more subtle aromas than the Vaucoupin. A super minerality/acidity balance. I really have the impression of some dry extract. Long and a very impressive 1er Cru!
2007 Moreau J. et Fils, Chablis ValmurApr. 2010
The aromas have a slightly biscuity impression. Again super acidity/minerality balance but this time with a little executive grand cru padding. Plenty of concentration. This is intense and very impressive.
2006 Moreau J. et Fils, Chablis VaudesirApr. 2008
Reticent aromatics; flowers and soap though eventually a few deeper tones. Very nice acidity and minerality despite a quite soft entry – really gets going in the mid-palate though. Very good length.
2003 Moreau J. et Fils, Chablis MontmainsMar. 2006
The nose is wide though a little dense. Sweet, almost honey palate. The acidity is not bad. Surprisingly long finish and just about fresh enough. Almost good.
2003 Moreau J. et Fils, Chablis VaudesirMar. 2006
It’s a deep nose – not much width – very slowly a few high-tones start to fill the picture. Very mineral in expression, almost hiding the fruit. This is a very good wine and has quite enough acidity.
