A little dijon-ing on saturday

10.1.2016billn

The only day that it wasn’t forecast to rain, so on Saturday we thought ‘why not take the 20 minute train ride(?)’
Massive versus Beaune, Nuits, or Chalon – but lots of cool places to visit…
Highly recommended.

The renovated new museum of the Palais de Ducs de Bourgogne is fabulous, and the market is also excellent. The opera, Rude museum, Cathedral St. Benigne, and other churches are treasures as well. Lunch at Stephane Debord is fairly affordable with a fine list.

You are much more cultured than I Jerome, I was there just to buy chocolate and cheese, and to sit in the nice new bar of the Grand Hotel La Cloche! However, the covered market is, indeed, very cool!
