I never see Tastiviné wines in the stores that I frequent and haven’t for many years. A look at those awarded the honor suggests that maybe they are for big box stores? Or are there other specific markets where they are used?

I do see plenty of these labels in (French) supermarkets Claude, but I also see bottles at the domaines of origin. Interestingly, despite the presold domains very rarely entering wines, the owners of those domaines are the core of tasters for the twice yearly Tastevinage tastings…

I’ve been disappointed with some of the wines I bought under the Tastiviné labels. Never (or seldom) any producers that have no problems selling their wines. A lot of cooperatives. What is the added value of this whole excercize?
