Well maybe not all the world, but after Decanter’s recent piece, Jay McInerny is at it in the Wall Street Journal too.

Nothing new of-course, just that the story is now trickling out into a more mainstream audience – in a way it’s surprising it’s taken so long…

    First mention I’ve seen of a DRC Montrachet suffering. The denial bit sounds familiar though!

    The rest of Burgundy gets off light — he attributes the problem only to Côte de Beaune wines.

    Anecdotally, it would appear that the market is changing. I’m seeing current vintages of certain wines on the shelves and getting e-mail offers for others that had been much more difficult to obtain in the recent past.
