A finer width of aroma with a little floral aspect. Ooh, that has such clarity, flashes of light, flashes of mandarin fruit in the gushing finish – grand vin!

2008 Dublère Chablis Les Preuses

There’s a dense core of fruit on the nose. It’s wider and more mouth-filling than the (slightly) austere Charlemagne. Very good intensity in the mid-palate too. Heavenly.

Maybe a trace of toast on the nose – overall quite savoury. Super acidity and good minerality. There’s an extra dimension of flavour, but some oak on the finish too?
