Nuits St.Georges

2007 Serveau Bernard Nuits St.Georges

Similar nose to the Gevrey. The structure is actually on a lower level to the Evocelles, which is mainly covered by bright well balanced fruit. Actually a very pretty wine – except the aromas.

Medium, medium-plus colour. Darker aromas, slowly cooking cherries. It’s a different kind of attack. Good width and intensity, the velvet tannin slowly builds. The flavours linger very well, sticking to the inside of your mouth.

A good mix of aromas including an edge of dark olive. Ripe fruit coats the tongue – the structure is buried by this. Balanced and showing a good length. Another good villages.
