A tight core of fruit, faint SO2. Ripe but not fat, good acidity and the impression of the mid-palate filling out. A quite savoury impression in the finish. Pretty mineral for a villages Meursault.

Less than 2 weeks in bottle. A high-toned nose of quite understated depth. After the subdued nose the palate impresses with its volume and its forward presentation. There is good width and a nice (small) extra dimension on the mid-palate before the good acidity takes you into the reasonable finish. Quite nice and should only get better as it recovers from bottling.

From the west side of the appellation. Medium yellow. A very floral nose with hints of herb overlaying the fruit. Fatter, well balanced acidity, in-fact very good acidity. Really does have an extra dimension and depth of complexity. Again, medium length, but the real interest for this wine is in the mouth. A very tasty wine indeed.
