From the assembly tank. Very round with a dark, depth of fruit – lovely. Likewise in the mouth, round and begging to be drunk – like an eager to please puppy. Yum!

The aromas are both denser and darker after the bourgogne, also faintly spicy. There’s a little too much gas for too much detail; just to say that it’s fresh, long finishing and slightly creamy. Should be good.

From vines averaging over 60 years-old in the flat part of the appellation., but still red. Again from more

than one plot and elevaged in 1-2 year-old barrels. The nose is pure and focused. More forward acidity than

the bourgogne, with good fruit in the mix. Mouth-wateringly long.

A lovely high-toned nose that mixes floral aspects with tart red-cherry. Again, in common with the whites, this is racy in style with very good acidity coupled to well mannered tannins. Lots of finishing interest here.
