My resident art lover/critic, a keen fan of Hockney [as well as yourself, on seeing you on screen opined, quote:- “I do like Bill” 🙂 ] reckons she has spied a Hockney on the Beaune apartment wall behind you. Is she correct ? Guess you will know well Salts Mill, Saltaire, Yorkshire from which we possess several Hockney prints with Madame keen to acquire a couple more !
Unrelated to art reckon, from the podcast, you might be needing to duck for cover from the residents of the likes of Monthelie, Auxey-Duresses, St Aubin etc but appreciate the time constraints in coverage of the vast subject we know and love;-) 🙂

Yes, the podcast was supposed to be a 30-minute overview of the Côte d’Or – unscripted, I took more than 90 minutes – as I said at the start – such an open-ended subject!
