I really don’t have the time to get into the vines – until it’s dark – likewise with the jogging – pff! But here’s a few snatched photos from along the way. There are rain-showers like April and relatively few morning frosts this week. Versus last year it’s much drier – some of the roads around here were flooded at the same time in 2018…
yet more chablis, but no dogs…

Interesting change of weather.
In Southern California, we are now in a greater than normal rainy season, after 8 years of drought. Though two years back we got a good precipitation, but prior to that we were in water rationing. The rain this season should help us catch up with normal snowpack in the Sierras (source of SoCal water).
I wonder if the drier winter in Chablis is also manifestation of the overall change in global climate!
Whilst I’m pretty happy to follow (graphical) trends, one year wet, one year dry (so far) – I’d call that a draw.
What lovely photos of Chablis. I only spent a few hours there in 2017 and it would be great to go back and taste more of their marvelous wines.
