burnt skin and mountains

A walk in the mountains this weekend – now I’m a red-neck with bright red forearms to match:

Agree? Disagree? Anything you'd like to add?

Great shots of the mountains. Where are those??

That look like the Eiger in the Bernese Alps. As for us, a squat 1800 mile round trip from Seattle to Utah and back left us sweaty and dusty, our nomadic souls somewhat slaked.

Yes it’s the Bernese Alps, but that is not the Eiger – rather the shadow in the bottom left is that of the Eiger. In the valley at the bottom is Grindlewald, with my back to Kleine Scheidegg and further down the hill, Wengen.

Here is a non-standard view of the Eiger in the centre of the picture:

Whoops! Oh well, my montomane told me it was Grindelwald.

It’s hot here, nearly 90F yesterday. But at least the ’05 AuVigue Macon Villages is tasty.
