[...] Kevin Harvey is a winemaker whose posts on burgundy I enjoy following. Here he is, just back from a trip to burgundy with tons of useful and interesting information; 2007,2008,2009 vintages, p.ox and even “Gout Moisi-terreux” – frankly something which I haven’t heard very much about. It’s worth you working your way through the (currently) 2 pages as conversations develop and are added to by other winemakers like Blair Pethel. [...]

Bill, great report. Thanks

Like Alex Gambal, Blair is yet another with strong North Carolina ties that has seen the light and moved to Burgundy

Hi Phil - I asked Blair about the Blanche Fleurs, but he prefers to keep that under his hat.
Cheers

Bill - spent many hours days weeks tracking a white Peuillets after giving up on Carre Courbin then Eurika I find Howard Ripley stocks this wine and well worth the wait one of the very best Savigny 1er whites and I think I have drunk most of them, although an Aux Clous 2005 from Lebreuil was very good.

I wish the man every success and look forward to trying his Blanche Fleurs a rare 1er indeed (did he say who owns it ?)

cheers Phil
