It is ocassionaly chance to taste this domaine corton Charlemgane 2005 last year which is from Marius Delarche. It is quite different style of Patrick Javillier who is one of my favourite corton charlemagne producers.
So last week after half year collection of Marius Delarche wine that we hold a wine tasting acitivity including their Corton Charlemagne reserve 2007,2008 and Corton Charlemagne 2009 and the other three is red from this domaine.
Comparing Patrick Javillier, Mariuse Delarche especially vintage 2007 Corton Charlemagne is not as big size as Javillier's but more fresh ,pure nose, and the taste is more round and clean, very good acid underneath and a bit vanilla or cream if you don't tast very carefully, you will miss.
And also the price is very reasonable although my delivery fee will be around 30% of the wine cost.
It is very small producers but they got 1.ooha corton charlemagne where I think it should got 2000bts production a year. But still it is difficult to find in the market. The producers Philipe Delarche guide his son Etienne Delarche to make wine at 2005 who is very talent. It is a pity that Philipe passed away due to cancers at 2008.
Based on 2009 vintage, it is a bit disappoint comparing to the other two,2007,2008. I don't know whether it is the caps between normal one and reserve one .
I find totaly tree labels at Market. And I send email to them to enquire about it but no reply..
