Mark,
Re 'La Ferme Ruchotte' I've not stayed there - yet. Have been aware of it for quite some time but booked it just after Christmas for a one night stop over end of June when wife, daughter, and self are breaking our drive down to the Vaucluse for fortnight's family hols.
At the time I had no idea about Raymond ooh la la's TV series but am now very popular with the ladies in my life that they can 'brag' we are stopping there !
Just for info the website suggests the one letting bedroom is for two but it will take three hence ideal for us. A picture on the website suggested a double and single bed so I emailed them to query if 2 was a limit but got confirmation back the room will do 3. Was easy to book with the lady of the property via email - Eva ? Not the quickest at replying on one or two emails though so if you go for it don't panic if you have to wait for a reply. I had more or less given up when my first enquiry was acknowledged.
Looking forward to it. Think you will find a few posters on wine-pages.com have stopped there. Aussie Jeremy Holmes wrote a very good piece I recall on his stay there but that was part of a trip all round France. If you p.m. him from w-p.com I'm sure he'll give you the full monte on his stay ? The Ferme website refers to wines they have for evening meal - seem to feature biodynamique producers in line with La Ferme produce ethics - I stopped looking once I saw Arlaud mentioned as that will do for me !
Remind me end Julyish if you want to know how we get on !
