As others have recorded 2010, and the second half particularly, has almost seen 'one's cup overfloweth' in terms of Burgundy book releases.
As well as acquiring myself a copy (from the USA) of Pitiot & Servant's 'The Wines of Burgundy', for my 'pocket' and for the maps for when wandering the Cote, which I wanted for my 2010 vendange but it arrived too late then seeing it cheaper, and in English, in the Morey Caveau (doh !), I've also been very fortunate to have been given as presents, in order of 'delivery':-
Allen Meadows - The Pearl of the Cote (has opened my eyes to details re all things Vosne from brief look see's so far);
Jasper's - Inside Burgundy (does indeed look like will become the 'reference work');
Remington Norman's - Grand Cru (lovely pictures about as far as I've got with this !).
Resolution for 2011 is to read these, properly, as soon as I can albeit the last time I read a proper book cover to cover was ages ago !!
So, in terms of help, which shall I read first you good people ? Guess the response might be what's most important to me, what priorities etc etc do I have from my intended reading - on which basis am inclining to Jasper's super looking tome.
Thoughts gratefully appreciated !
