Clos st Jacques， Malconsorts as well as Clos des Chenes are always my top 3 favorite 1er Crus
have not tasted many Chambolle Charmes before, maybe I should try Ghislaine Barthod’s next time…..

Honestly I don’t have one, I like to taste different things all the time. I suppose the closest thing I have to a favouriite cru would be Chambolle Charmes, but then that would mean ignoring Volnay Clos des Chênes and, and, and…

Yes I was a little bemused by the preformance. I know I was at the start of a cold, but other things (including this – eventually!) tasted okay, so I’m sure it was the wine…

I had stunning Vosne Brulees and Echezeaux 98 from here recently, very possibly the best Echezeaux I’ve ever had.
