It made me laugh too, in a sort of hollow laugh sort of way. It’s the next logical step in a world where people who have no idea about what wine should taste like are happy to spend a fortune on bottles just because some “expert” gives them ninety something points. Now we have “experts” who recommend wines without tasting them. There are “luxury goods companies” who make profit from selling crap because it has a “fashionable” logo on it. They started buying bordeaux and champagne producers a while ago. Burgundy is next….
Next? But Latour bought Engel ‘ages’ ago…!
